Renewal Look-Ahead — Terms of Service
Last updated · 25 September 2026
Free, read-only, provided as-is. Read section 3: the total it shows you is an upper bound, not a forecast.
1. The agreement
By installing Renewal Look-Ahead you agree to these terms with Ultramar Labs LLC. If you are installing it on behalf of an organisation, you are confirming you may do so.
2. What the app does
It lists the subscriptions renewing in your next 60 days that have one of four problems — a card that expires before the renewal date, a trial ending with no payment method attached, no usable payment method at all, or a subscription already set to cancel at period end — ranked by the amount at risk. It is read-only and changes nothing.
3. What the numbers mean, and what they do not
Stripe's Card Account Updater silently refreshes most US-issued cards, and Stripe states outright that it is not possible to identify which cards support it. Some of the renewals this app flags will therefore fix themselves with no action from you. The total is an upper bound on what is at risk, not a forecast of what you will lose, and the app says so on screen next to the number. Merchants billing outside the US will see fewer false alarms.
4. It is a list, not a system of record
The app reports what your Stripe data says at the moment you open it. It does not verify that a card will actually be declined, does not chase a customer, and does not act on your behalf. Deciding what to do about any row, and doing it, remains entirely yours.
5. Availability
The app is free and provided as-is, with no uptime commitment. It depends on the Stripe Dashboard and the Stripe API; if either is unavailable or slow, the page will say so rather than show you a stale or partial list.
6. Ending it
Uninstall it from your Stripe Dashboard at any time, with no notice and nothing to cancel. Access ends immediately and there is nothing left behind. We may discontinue the app; because it stores nothing, there is no data to move if we do.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the app is provided without warranties, and our liability for any claim arising from it is limited to what you paid us for it, which is nothing. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
