You know the work. Let’s build around it.
You work with Kevin directly—from understanding the problem to putting something useful in your team’s hands.

Start with a paid Working Session
Pay $250, set up your account and complete the practical intake, then choose a time. We spend 60–90 minutes on a real problem. Your written Brief arrives within 24 hours with practical options and a recommended first move.
Your $250 carries forward. The full session fee is credited toward a qualifying build or Field Study if we continue together.

Choose the right next move
Your Brief usually lays out two or three options: a smaller, affordable first improvement, a more connected solution, and a broader build when it makes sense. We explain the tradeoffs and recommend where to start. We look at tools you already own and existing products first; sometimes the answer is a better process or an existing feature. A larger operation may benefit from a Field Study before we scope a build.

Agree on scope and milestones
You see what we will deliver, what it costs, what we need from you and how we will decide it is ready. Your $250 credits toward a qualifying build or Field Study. Changes to scope are agreed before the work expands.
- 04
Build together, with visible progress
Your client portal keeps updates, questions, files and decisions in one place. We demonstrate completed milestones and ask for your review. Payment milestones and acceptance criteria follow the agreement, with clear next steps when something needs attention.
- 05
Use it, support it, improve it
We help the people doing the work use the result. Choose ongoing care for the system or a Technology Partner relationship for continuing improvements. Access, documentation and responsibilities are part of the handoff.
Meet Kevin
I came to this from running businesses.
I’ve managed teams, worked construction, pumped concrete, and dealt with software that made everyday work harder than it needed to be. Ultramar started with wanting better tools for that work. Now I help other businesses find and build theirs.
My favorite part is showing up, meeting your people, and learning the job. I like riding with a crew, sitting with the office, and asking questions until I understand how the pieces fit. You know things about your work that no software specification can tell me.
I keep Ultramar small on purpose so I can stay involved. AI-assisted development helps me build and iterate efficiently, with testing and review throughout. When another specialist can improve the work, I can bring them in while staying your point of contact.
Dallas–Fort Worth is home. I work with businesses nationwide, remotely and on site when understanding the operation calls for it. The systems we build are documented so your team or another developer can take them forward.
Bring the problem. We’ll work out where to start.
A paid session, a written recommendation, and a practical next step—even when the right answer is an existing tool.
