What we can connect to
Keep the tools your team knows and likes. We can build connections around software such as QuickBooks and Zoho, then add the missing pieces where they help. We check your account, the data you need, and the cost before recommending a route.
Start with what you already use.
These products offer integration routes we can assess for your workflow. This is a starting point for a custom connection, not a list of ready-to-use Ultramar connectors. Your plan, permissions, supported data, and any vendor approval or fees determine what we can deliver.
33 API options · 14 access checks · 7 report / export options · 7 specialist systems
QuickBooks: turn completed work into a reviewed invoice
Bring the job details together, prepare the supported invoice fields, and give your office a draft to check. Your books stay in QuickBooks.
Zoho: move a customer request to the next step
Use the customer records your team already maintains to support intake, scheduling, or follow-up. Start with one useful handoff and expand when it earns its keep.
These are examples we can scope with you. The first step is confirming the records and actions your actual software supports.
Your office tools—and your financial picture.
Google Workspace can connect supported Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets and Tasks workflows. Microsoft 365 offers routes through Outlook, calendars, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint. We confirm the permissions and administrator approval each workflow needs.
Bank connections through Plaid can bring authorized account and transaction data into dashboards and reconciliation workflows. Coverage depends on the institution, account and product; updates are not always real time. Payment initiation is a separate scope and authorization.

QuickBooks Desktop can be part of the picture. It needs a Windows Web Connector setup and a compatible installation, rather than a simple cloud sign-in. We check that setup and any hosting restrictions before proposing the connection.
Some connections need a closer look.
Plan requirements, vendor approvals, and setup work belong in the conversation before you commit.
- Bank connections via PlaidConfirm institution, account and product coverage, production access and customer consent. Transaction refresh is not necessarily real time; payment initiation needs separate scope and authorization.
- Open DentalRequires developer registration and customer API enablement. Confirm the installation and records needed; remote access may require eConnector.
- QuickBooks DesktopA Windows Web Connector setup and compatible QuickBooks installation; hosted setups also need the host's cooperation.
- SalesforceConfirm API access for your edition, the records needed, and any additional licensing.
- JobberConfirm the current developer approval route and access for your account before promising a connection.

- ADP Workforce NowConfirm API Central access and the specific employee or time records needed; payroll processing stays in ADP.
- Paychex FlexCheck available integration access with your Paychex representative.
- MindbodyConfirm developer access, location authorization, and usage costs.
- ConnecteamCheck API availability for your plan and the part of the product we would connect.
- When I WorkConfirm the current plan and vendor approval requirements.
- GustoGusto requires approval for partner integrations and does not currently offer direct API access for a customer's own internal systems. We can assess a supported import or existing integration instead.
Useful data can still have a way out.
For these systems, we start by checking the reports, exports, or restricted API access available to your account. The route and refresh frequency vary. We only promise the records we have verified, and do not assume we can write changes back.

When direct access is limited, work alongside it.
These need individual research. A public API may be unavailable, restricted, or insufficient for the work you need. We can check supported exports, approved integrations, and a practical manual handoff.

Work alongside it
If your system provides a usable export or approved integration, we can bring that data into a shared view. Your existing app keeps doing its job, with the limits and refresh schedule made clear.
Build only the missing piece
Sometimes a better setup in an existing tool solves it. Sometimes an off-the-shelf service does. When neither fits, we can build a small workflow around the gap and expand only when the value is clear.
A worked example — payroll. Gusto has an approval process for partner integrations, while direct API access for a customer’s own internal systems is not currently offered. We can assess a supported hours import or an existing approved integration. Payroll stays in the system your team already trusts.
You should never have to change software you’re happy with to work with us.
Bring us your tools and the problem you want to solve.
We start with a conversation, then check the access and supported workflow before we quote. We’ll explain what is possible, what needs vendor confirmation, and when a simpler option makes more sense.
Bring us your stackResearch guide updated 28 September 2026. Access and vendor terms can change; each proposed connection needs an account-specific check. Product names identify the tools discussed. Ultramar Labs is an independent service provider; inclusion does not imply vendor endorsement or certification.
Tell us what you're running.
Bring the list — the apps, the spreadsheets, the group text. We'll tell you what connects, what doesn't, and what that means.
