These describe how the site and the platform actually work today. They are reviewed by counsel before contract signature; the contracted terms of an engagement are set out in the agreement itself.
1. Scope
These terms cover your use of this website. They are not the terms of an engagement — paid work is governed by a separate written agreement between you and Ultramar Labs LLC, and where the two differ, that agreement governs.
2. Using this site
Use it lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt it, probe it, or reach anything that is not yours. Automated scraping at scale is not permitted. Security researchers acting in good faith are welcome to write to us first — we would rather hear from you than find out another way.
3. Booking and payment
A Working Session is booked and paid through the site; the price shown at checkout is the price. Card payments are processed by Stripe. If we conclude we are not the right fit for your problem, we will say so and refund the session rather than proceed.
4. Demonstrations and examples
Capability Demonstrations on this site use invented businesses and invented data. They illustrate how a system behaves; they are not a record of a real client engagement and they are not a promise of a result. Figures quoted from published research are attributed as other people’s and are not our outcomes.
5. Our content
Text, design and demonstrations on this site belong to Ultramar Labs LLC. Work we build for a client belongs to that client under their agreement.
6. No warranty for the site itself
The site is provided as is. Nothing on it is professional, legal, financial or medical advice, and reading it does not create a client relationship — an agreement does.
