Co SMS Terms

These describe how the site and the platform actually work today. They are reviewed by counsel before contract signature; the contracted terms of an engagement are set out in the agreement itself.
1. Program and operator
Ultramar Co is the optional assistant messaging program operated by Ultramar Labs LLC, trading as Ultramar Labs. The program covers user-requested calendar and task reminders, scheduling updates, and conversational replies. It does not cover marketing or sign-in verification codes. The private pilot is awaiting messaging approval; sending is not active yet.
2. Enrollment and consent
Invited adult users may enter their own US mobile number at /co/sms to request private-pilot access. The phone number is required for that request. The separate SMS consent box is optional, unchecked by default, and reads: “I agree to receive automated Ultramar Co text messages at my own mobile number: reminders I request, scheduling and task updates, and replies to my messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.” The form can be submitted with the box unchecked; that records no SMS consent. It links to these terms and /legal/privacy. We save the request, consent selection, disclosure version, timestamp and source. We confirm pilot access and control of the number before activation. Submitting the form alone does not send a text or activate a subscription. You cannot enroll someone else by providing their number.
3. Frequency and costs
Message frequency varies with your reminders and conversations. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Do not rely on SMS for emergency or time-critical alerts.
4. STOP, START and HELP
Once messaging is active, reply STOP to opt out. You may receive one confirmation of your opt-out, and no further program messages unless you opt in again. Reply START to request resubscription from the same number; pilot access and consent requirements still apply. Reply HELP for support or email kevin@ultramarlabs.io. Before activation, you can withdraw a pending enrollment request by email.
5. Privacy and support
We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
